Big Finish Classic B7 Release
Not sure what the title of this one is in reference to but WOW, it sure is a cold planet and some wackiness going on. I can’t wait for the next story in the line, Caged. Woooeee! How will they get out of this one?
Vila is left behind in the previous story and Travis has him prisoner. So he is naturally tortured and betrays the crew. Not totally of his own volition as he is drugged as part of the torture. Blake comes to rescue him on a frozen planet where there are forbidden cloning experiments going on. It’s really not clear who is in charge as the President arrives but is operated on, but to what end? Is Servilan behind it all? This is a seriously long-running plot and though it’s intense and keeps me coming back for more, I need some kind of resolution. Of something. I’m sure they’ll get there but this crew isn’t made for happy times so who knows how that will go!
This storyline is simple but layered with lots of little things that I suspect will be revealed at a later date. I can only hope that it has a resolution as it’s not very clear at all. And Avon is the hero, bailing out Blake at the last second while Vila betrays the crew at the final moment. Or does he? It’s difficult to tell sometimes what’s going on in their heads as we just hear the action but no internal “dialog,” as it were. And it’s good stuff. VERY good. June can’t come soon enough…
