The Beast of Kravenos (6.1)

  Big Finish, Fourth Doctor Series

The fact that K-9, Jago, AND Litefoot are in this story make it loads of fun! They keep us on our toes and smooth the way for the Doctor to figure out the mystery. What could be wrong with that? It’s a real hum-dinger of an adventure, with lots of running around from place to place, triangulating the location of the beast, and figuring out just what in the world is really going on. Though I like the teaming of the 4th Doctor-Romana2 with Jago and Litefoot, this could be a J&L story until the very end. Fixing space ships really isn’t in their wheelhouse.

So the story follows both a burglar and killer, making their way through London. And it was only getting worse but at least it was just, ultimately, one person. There’s a lot of investigating, Inspector Quick is involved, and the New Regency is the base for the team. It’s a fine, fun story but gets a bit confusing at times, with so much running around. But it’s a good one!
