Big Finish Jago and Litefoot Series
This story begins with the death of the mysterious Mr. Riverstock, torn to shreds by some animal. Finally Fowler comes forward and we discover used to be a captain and stopped off at a mysterious island with his crew. And there was an artifact stolen from the island, which the natives believed kept a devil at bay. So naturally there are deaths surrounding the artifact and the people who were on the voyage when it was stolen. This story follows the story of that crew to the bitter end, with Jago and Litefoot along for the ride. Really, they’re the grease that makes the story move along to its conclusion. Other than death for everyone who gets in the path of the creature, anyway!
Series 9 has been consistently very, very good throughout – not so many ups and downs as with other seasons of J&L. Just consistently fantastic! The extra interviews have become just routine at this point so they’re not revealing nothing new, though they’re still fun to listen to. I really enjoyed having our heroes on a ship away from London. Though it is the center of their adventures, it’s nice to hear something different. Good stuff!
