Warrant Officer Charlie Sato is tasked by UNIT with finding some broken alien tech and returning it to them for safe keeping. And he runs into some small dudes and some very, very big dudes. The big dudes beat him up. Twice!
The reading of this story is fine. The story itself is fine. It's all fine. I never had a feeling of mortal peril, honestly, though Sato was having issues. I liked the story and wouldn't skip it but it just didn't resonate with me. Not much to say, really...
