Big Finish Main Range
This is an amazing story, from title to end. There are a lot of twists and turns throughout, where we think we know who the villain is but do we? That title really is perfect, too. LOVE this story as it’s fast paced and I was along for the ride. Amazing work!
Kamelion and the Doctor are working on fixing up the TARDIS and they accidentally crash into a ship in space. So they land to help, finding some Harrigane, a hippo warrior race with Orna and Rako being of the 3rd Harrigane Collective. Made me think of the Judoon but without the horn, perhaps? So they go from space ship, to crashing on a planet, to the TARDIS, to the planet again, to finally on the TARDIS. A story that would be difficult to do on TV but it’s absolutely riveting. I can only advise you to listen to this story as I don’t want to spoil any of it. Companions in peril? Check. Companions figuring out the solution? Check. Doctor figuring out the ultimate solution? Check. Extra “companions” to the story who help with the solution? Check. Villain with super powers? Check. This story has it all. Snakes, explosions, companion development… What more is there for the 5th Doctor to do? I can’t wait to hear the other two stories with these companions!
