Binary (#6.09)

  Big Finish, Companion Chronicles

I have enjoyed everything Eddie Robson wrote for Big Finish (Memory Lane, ID + Urgent Calls, The Jupiter Conjunction) up until now.  This story isn’t bad, it’s just not great.  “Eh” was my reaction to it.  Liz Shaw is assigned to investigate a mysterious piece of alien computer equipment that has made everyone disappear who has come in contact with it previously.  There aren’t a lot of twists to this story, just a lot of running around, figuring out what’s happened and trying to fix the problem.  It just didn’t inspire me to really care about the characters involved, including Liz Shaw.  But perhaps it’s because I never really felt a connection to her character on TV, either.  Meh.
