Kerr (4.3)

        Big Finish Special Release

This is obliquely a story about Kerr Avon, the man who Servalan thought she could replicate and get to work for the Federation. Wow. The narration by Servalan and the whole story itself lend that extra bit of menace. And I did wonder several times if Kerr in the story really was Avon but no, it’s a clone. A sadistic, brilliant version of Avon who doesn’t have to deal with that internal war of conscience vs. actions that the Avon on the Liberator did struggle with at times. Not very often but it made him a different Kerr than the one in this story, ultimately. Though I could see the “real” Avon doing these things to get what he wants ultimately. It’s all in that smile, not in the eyes. A very well written and acted story! LOVED THIS!
