Big Finish, Companion Chronicles
This story is read a bit differently than the other companion chronicles – it’s read like an actual audio play with multiple actors instead of a ‘reading’ by two actors. I rather enjoyed that aspect of it. Frazer Hines does his usual stellar reading, with the 2nd Doctor and all kinds of other parts. Wendy Padbury was very good but Frazer has all of the good parts! And the interview at the end is fantastic, too. I’m a bit mystified what mirror is involved but perhaps it’s just a metaphysical or symbolic mirror – a city “mirrored” in two places at once. Interesting concept with fantastic acting. Fabulous stuff!
